[memory - narrowly avoiding getting shot]
It opens with Yuuya typing on a computer. (If you see this memory in human form, he can't be older than 15.) He's going fast, maybe too fast to really read it, but it seems like he has some level of skill with this and it also seems like he needs to hurry. Like there's a deadline.
There is the sound of yelling outside, and then a voice over a radio— Sakazaki, you're out of time. Get out now. — and he pulls a flash drive out of the computer and pockets it, then exits the room.
The hallway is calm, empty, except for (a satinette pigeon??) a young man who is still at least ten years older than Yuuya (he is a satinette pigeon though), who has been waiting on standby.
"Good job, kid. We're probably going to have to get you out of France after this, though."
(for those viewing on screens, the dialogue is French, but subtitled.)
"I don't know about that. I was like a shadow. I could walk back in here tomorrow and they would greet me happily with--"
The two turn a corner and are looking directly into the barrel of a gun. The person (bird) holding the gun is shouting something about leaking information and betrayal but it almost sounds out of focus, muffled, because that is not what Yuuya is paying attention to. His partner/lookout/babysitter on this mission thinks faster than he does, though, grabs him, pulls him back and disarms their would-be attacker, knocking him out.
There is a moment of silence. The danger is passed but the adrenaline is still there.
"We should probably get me out of France," Yuuya says, a little wheezily.

While he listens to people talking (they are mentioning that a target has moved positions, or that a building is being evacuated, or that a bomb squad is being sent into the building, or that the target has a detonator) he opens the case and puts together what's inside.
It is, of course, a high-powered rifle, you know, like all cool teens have on them most of the time. He sets it up mostly in silence, since the radio is for work and not for chatter, and when he's done he speaks - a simple 'In position'.
"Okay, hold your position. You shouldn't have to fire at all, kiddo, if we do our jobs right. But just in case."
"Yep, just in case."
And that's it for the chatter. The rest of the memory is locating, then following a (middle-aged politician) (a crane) (a crane who is a middle-aged politician) through the sights of the rifle. As expected, he doesn't have to fire at all, but gets to watch as the agents on the ground neutralize whatever situation is happening without his assistance.
He is finally called off, target apprehended, and lets out a sigh of relief before rolling over onto his back and just lying there for a while before getting up to put everything back away.
Seems fine!! Seems safe!!

[ The setting is lavish and elaborate and rich and the whole place just looks rich. It looks like it's probably a mansion? God damn there are chandeliers bigger than you.
Yuuya is small, like... 11? And he looks profoundly miserable in that like bone-deep depression way that kind of comes around the other side into being normal. It's some kind of big party and he does not know or like ANYONE there.
His mom is there though actually. (If you've seen childhood memories, she looks much less happy here). And he tries to go talk to her! And just gets like. Blocked by SOME RICH ASSHOLE DOVE, who proceeds to be rude as shit, casually call him things like 'mongrel' and 'half-breed', tell him not to embarrass them by trying to interact with them, etc, etc. It actually draws some attention. A couple people look over and one or two of them break into hushed giggling.
Yuuya leaves, feeling somehow EVEN WORSE than he did at the beginning, jesus ]

There's a lot of like, the doctor ominously joking about having put something in a drink or whatever. Which would be inappropriate in any workplace. But is probably more inappropriate because he actually has fucking done it most of the time.
IT'S LIKE... A MONTAGE OF... BEING MILDLY POISONED AND DRUGGED WITH WEIRD EXPERIMENTAL MEDICINES. Very concerning. Not okay.

Specifically they are bullying her with the news that her husband is dead. They break this news without any sort of empathy or sorrow whatsoever. There is then a lot of directly bullying this lady into marrying him because!!! How can she live otherwise!!! Now that her husband is dead!! Now that he's dead there's nothing standing in the way of their marriage!! She has a child to think about!! Isn't it important to ensure his future?

At one point his locker is so full of beans they fly everywhere when he opens it. At one point someone is trying to stalk him but he's a spy so it doesn't work and she runs away when he catches her. AT ONE POINT HE GETS KABEDON'D BY A BIRD!!! IT'S WILD
One time someone gives him a letter but then asks him to give it to the janitor for her, which is a little uncool. But what can you do.

Basically Yuuya is on his way to the infirmary and sees this chuuni fucker being weird outside of it. The luzon (Anghel) asks if he is a DEMON and Yuuya plays along for a bit and gets his own title, the APOSTLE! OF THE VIOLET! ROSE!!!
... But then Anghel wants to go in and fight the doctor and Yuuya is like 'he will straight up kill you' and Anghel tries to fight harder so Yuuya just fuckin picks him up and carries him off.
Then he goes and finds Anghel's friend Hiyoko (who is a human) and hands him off to her. YOUR PROBLEM NOW MON AMIE.

Wherein they discuss the MYSTERIOUS CHRISTMAS THIEVES who DESTROYED A PRECIOUS CHRISTMAS TREE and are PLANNING TO STEAL CHRISTMAS and it's actually very cute.

Eventually he finds what he's looking for - a bone. It looks like a chicken drumstick, and there's meat still attached in places. It's clearly mostly been eaten. He drops it into a little baggie, then finds part of a wing, part of a thigh...
Once nothing else shows up in his search he sighs, takes the gloves off, brushes himself off and leaves.
BACK AT HOME BASE, SLIGHTLY LATER, HE AND THE COCKATIEL FROM EARLIER MEMORIES are going through.... several baggies of half-eaten poultry and... several quill feathers that are laid out on the table...
They also have a database of student names open on a computer with an additional column - 'last seen on'. It... it seems like they're trying to match the BIRD PARTS to the STUDENTS. For the most part they just kind of work in grim silence, because it's hard to get a DNA match with cooked meat and the whole thing is pretty demoralizing.
Yikes, yikes. Yikes.
